Safari Highlight: Nairobi / Lake Naivasha / Masai Mara Game Reserve / Lake Nakuru National Park / Nairobi

 

5 Days Predators trail safari tour itinerary

Day 1:  Lake Naivasha

Morning drive to Lake Naivasha which is one of the Great Rift Valley’s fresh- water lakes, home to over 350 bird species and wildlife. Check in to a safari lodge for lunch. visit the lake shore in afternoon game drive. Enjoy the stunning Crater Lake Reserve, some of the only game parks where you are allowed to explore by foot. There are no predators in these game park’s but you will spot giraffe, zebra and impala. Dinner and overnight at Naivasha Sopa Lodge or similar

Day 2: Masai Mara Game Reserve

After breakfast head towards the rolling plains of the Masai Mara. Before entering into the Game Reserve, visit a Masai village to see inside a traditional Masai hut and learn about Masai tradition and lifestyle, but also try your hand at the age-old tradition of bartering for souvenirs.  Dinner and overnight at Mara Sopa Lodge or similar

Day 3: Masai Mara.

The Masai Mara is the most famous and prolific game park in Kenya covering an area of 1,672 square kilometers. Early morning breakfast, depart for game drive with packed lunch and spend the whole day viewing game with a visit to the Mara river to view crocodiles and hippos – and if during the migration season, witness the wildebeest and zebras river crossings. Dinner and Overnight at Mara Dopa Lodge or similar

Day 4:  Lake Nakuru  National Park

Leave the Masai Mara and drive to Lake Nakuru National Park a park famous for a large population of pink flamingos, a sizeable population of rhinos, both black and white and other animals including leopards and lions. Enjoy the sunset whilst listening out for the laughing hyena or the mighty lion staking his territory for the night. Dinner and overnight at Lake Nakuru Sopa Lodge or Sarova Lion Hill Lodge or similar

Day 5: Nairobi

After a half-day walking safari we journey back to the lodge for a big buffet lunch then pack up and head to Nairobi stopping at the Rift Valley viewpoint for some stunning photo opportunities. The Rift Valley runs 6000 kms from the Red Sea into Mozambique and is up to 100km’s wide in places. After a photo opportunity at the viewpoint and a chance to enjoy the spectacular view we head back in to Nairobi for the night

Our package for above arrangements includes:

  • 3 bottles of mineral water per client per day while on safari
