5 Days Volcanoes National park safari tour itinerary

Day 1: Kigali

Arrival and transfer to your hotel. Dinner and overnight at Kigali Serena Hotel or similar

Day 2:Kigali City & Musanze City- Volcanoes National Park

After breakfast, drive for a tour of Kigali city that includes The Kigali Genocide Memorial Center, Inema arts centre and Inzuki designs. Lunch will be at the Khana Kazana Restaurant. After lunch, drive to volcanoes national park. Dinner and overnight at Five Volcanoes Boutique Hotel or Mountain gorillas View Lodge or similar.

Day 3: Volcano National Park for Gorillas Trekking

After breakfast, proceed to the park headquarters in time for Gorilla Trek briefing and start the guided walk that begins at 08h00. After this memorable experience, you will return to the lodge for lunch and rest. Optional, boat ride on Lake Ruhondo or do the Dianne Fossey Tomb hike. Dinner and overnight at Five Volcanoes Boutique Hotel or similar.

Day 4: Volcano National Park for Golden Monkey Tracking

After early breakfast, drive to the park headquarters for briefing before you start your guided Golden Monkey Trek. You will start trekking to see the golden monkeys which is another highlight of Volcanoes National Park. In the afternoon, visit the Ibyiwacu village for a Rwandan cultural experience.  Ibyiwacu is changing the traditional perception of what constitutes tourism by turning fate into fame through Sharing various aspects of rural cultures and livelihoods into tourist attractions and creating income generating activities for Rural poor people that have reformed from living on bush meat and poaching for generations. Dinner and overnight at Five Volcanoes Boutique Hotel or similar

Day 5: Kigali

After early breakfast, drive to the Kigali and transfer to the airport
