5 Days wonders of Cairo safari tour itinerary

Day 1: Arrival Cairo

Upon arrival at Cairo International airport, we shall meet and greet you then transfer you in our air-conditioned vehicle to your hotel. After hotel check-in, our representative will give you a briefing on your next day’s program and timings. Overnight in Cairo.

Day 2: Pyramids Tour

After breakfast, depart for Giza Plateau to visit the pyramids of Cheops, Chefren and Mykerinus – Famous Sphinx and Valley temple facing the great statue. You will have optional visit to the Solar Boat in front of Cheops Pyramid (extra cost). Lunch at one of the local restaurants followed by a visit to Sakkara area to visit Sakkara Complex and the 1^st pyramid to be built called Djoser Pyramid. Overnight in Cairo.

Day 3: Cairo Sightseeing

After breakfast, proceed to visit the Egyptian Museum to see various fascinating artifacts. You will have an opportunity to visit the “mummies room” at the museum (at an extra cost). Lunch will be at one of the local restaurants, followed by a visit to the Coptic Cairo to visit the Hanging Church and Ben Ezra Synagogue. Later, proceed to the Islamic Cairo to explore Khan El Khalili, Cairo’s old bazaar. Late afternoon, return to your hotel for overnight.

Day 4: Optional Tour to Alexandria

After breakfast, depart for the 2^nd city of Egypt called  Alexandria to visit. Here, you will visit one of the most important defensive strongholds along the Mediterranean Sea coast called Qaitbay Citadel, which was built in the 15th century by Sultan Qaitbay. This location is the exact place where Alexandria’s ancient lighthouse once stood. Later, visit the much acclaimed Alexandria Library. You will also have the opportunity to visit the Roman cemetery which was cut out of the rock, the Catacombs. Later, return to your hotel in Cairo.

Day 5: Departure

After breakfast, transfer to Cairo International Airport for your flight back home.
