3 Days Akagera safari tour itinerary

Day 1: Akagera national park from Kigali

Morning drive to Akagera National Park for morning game drive and lunch at the lodge. Alter lunch, enjoy a short siesta before departing for an afternoon game drive in search of animals like elephants, buffalos, giraffe, zebras, leopards, hyenas and lions. This park is also home to a variety of antelope species, including bushbucks, topis, oribis, waterbuck, roan, duiker, bohor, reedbuck, klipspringer, impala and the world’s largest antelope, the cape eland. In the evening you have the option to go on an optional cultural tour or nature walk. Dinner and Overnight at Akagera Game Lodge or similar

Day 2: Akagera National park

Today you have full day game drives in the park with all meals in the lodge. You will see elephants, buffalos, giraffe, zebras, leopards, hyenas and lions. Day 3: Kigali

Have breakfast and drive to Kigali, go for a city tour, visit the museum, the genocide memorial, site, and other cultural sites. Transfer to the airport
