4 Day gorilla experience and Lake Kivu safari tour itinerary

Day 1: Transfer to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park

Bwindi Impenetrable National Park

Morning drive to Bwindi Impenetrable National park, southwestern of Uganda for tracking of mountain gorillas. Dinner and overnight at Ruhondeza Lodge & Campsite or similar

Day 2: Gorilla trekking in Bwindi

Bwindi Impenetrable national park

You will assemble at the park headquarters for briefing from the park rangers after breakfast ahead of gorilla trekking. You will proceed for gorilla trekking in the forest that may last 2-6 hours depending on the movement of the animals. Meet and stay with the animals for a maximum of one hour, then descend to the park headquarters and then to your Lodge for lunch and relaxation. In the evening, you may go for community walk in the nearby Batwa community, where you will be entertained and given tales of their unique culture. Dinner and overnight at Ruhondeza Lodge & Campsite or similar

Day 3: Transfer to Lake Kivu

Lake Kivu

After breakfast, you will be transferred to Lake Kivu in Rwanda. You will enjoy a boat ride and an optional canoe ride to the hot-springs. Lake Kivu boosts great sunsets and sun downs. You will relax by the lake side and enjoy an optional nature walk in the surrounding areas in the evening. Dinner and overnight at Rwiza Village Hotel or similar

Day 4: Transfer to Kigali

Kigali

Drive to Kigali for a tour of the genocide memorial center and the crafts market. After the tour, transfer to the airport
