Day 1: Nyungwe Forest National Park

Arrival in Kigali and drive to Nyungwe Forest National Park for a visit to the Royal Palace Museum and Ethnographic Museum in Southern Province enroute. You will then proceed to Nyungwe Forest National Park after lunch reaching late afternoon. Dinner and overnight at Nyungwe Top View Hill Hotel or similar

Day 2: Nyungwe Forest National Park

After breakfast, drive to park offices for a briefing ahead of chimpanzee tracking. Embark on chimpanzee tracking where you will see the primates, with 13 species of Chimpanzee resident in Forest. After Lunch you will enjoy the canopy walk way through the forest. Dinner and overnight at Nyungwe Top View Hill Hotel or similar

Day 3: Akagera National Park

After breakfast, drive to Akagera National park which is the home to several antelopes like elephants, buffalos, giraffe, zebras, leopards, hyenas, lion’s bushbucks, Topis, Oribis, water-buck, roan antelope and duiker, bohor reedbuck, klipspringer, impala and world largest antelope – the Cape eland. Dinner and overnight at Akagera Game Lodge or similar

Day 4: Akagera National Park

Early morning game drive to view lions, Elephants, Buffalos, Masai Giraffe, Gazelles, Impala, Baboons, Oribi, Butchel’s zebra, Topi, Bush baby, Leopard and bushbuck and Elands. Proceed to the lodge for lunch and afternoon boat ride on Lake Ihema. Dinner and overnight at Akagera Game Lodge or similar

Day 5:Kigali

After breakfast, drive for a city tour including a visit to the museum and the genocide memorial site and will have lunch in Kigali.
