6 Days Taste of Cairo-Minya and Desert Safari

Day 1: Arrival in Cairo

Upon arrival in Cairo airport, you will be met and greeted by our team and transferred to the hotel in our air-conditioned vehicle. After the check-in, you will have a brief meeting to review your holiday program. Overnight in Cairo at Hilton Pyramids Golf Hotel or similar

Day 2: Pyramids, Sakkara & Dahshur tours

After breakfast, we shall drive for some 40 kms to the south to visit the Red Pyramid and Bent Pyramid at Dahshur. Dahshur is a famous royal necropolis in Egypt home to many famous Pyramids of king snefru. Proceed to visit the Step Pyramid of Zoser, the world’s oldest major stone structure built in the 3rd Dynasty (around 2630 BC) for King Djoser. You will have lunch at one of the local restaurants. Afternoon visit to the Pyramids of Cheops, Chefren, and Mykerinus. Later, proceed to visit the Great Sphinx, the head of a pharaoh with a lion’s body dating back to the time of Chefren. You will also visit the Valley Temple, belonging to the Pyramids of Chefren. Late afternoon, transfer to your hotel in Cairo or Giza. Overnight at Le Méridien Pyramids Hotel & Spa or similar

Day 3: Baharyia Oasis & White Desert Tour

After early breakfast, drive for about 4 hours to cover some 360 kms to arrive at Bahariya Oasis which is on the East Cairo. You will have your lunch in one of the local restaurants. After lunch, proceed to the Black Desert and the natural hot spring of El Haize ( St.George Oasis ). You will proceed to see the quartz crystal at Crystal Mountain, and the rocky formations in the Valley of Agabat. Later, proceed to the White Desert National Park which is the famous desert destination in Egypt. This area has beautiful wind-carved rock formations shaped in the form of giant mushrooms or pebbles. We shall camp on the white desert. Dinner and Overnight at the Farafra oasis hotel or similar

Day 4: Bahariya Oasis Tour & Cairo

After breakfast at the campsite, we shall drive to Bahariya Oasis to visit the golden mummy showroom and nobles tombs (2 tombs) from the 26th dynasty. This is a huge burial site at Bahariya Oasis in the Western Desert of Egypt and the Tomb of Bannantiu in the Bahariya Oasis. Later, you will attempt to climb the Black Mountain. You will have your lunch at Bahariya oasis and drive back to Cairo. Overnight in Cairo

Day 5: El Minya Day Tour

After breakfast, we shall drive for some4 hours to arrive at Al Menia. Upon arrival, you will board a boat and proceed to Tal Al Amarna. You will have your lunch in one of the local restaurants. This was the capital of Akhenaton. Later, proceed to visit Beni Hassan to see many tombs from the Old Kingdom and the Middle Kingdom. Overnight

Day 6: Departure

After breakfast, depart for the Cairo International Airport for final departure.
