7 Days African Trails safari tour itinerary

Day 1: Amboseli National Park

Early morning transfer to the airport for your scheduled morning or afternoon flight to Amboseli. The flight is approximately 40 minutes to Amboseli. Upon arrival at the airstrip‚ you will be met by a driver/ guide who will transfer you to Ol Tukai Camp as you enjoy a short game drive just before check in. After lunch you will depart for a late afternoon game drive or enjoy other activities offered at the lodge. After a short siesta, depart for an afternoon game viewing drive. Dinner and overnight at Oltukai Lodge or similar

Day 2: Amboseli national park

Today, you shall spend the whole day at Amboseli national park with 2 game drives and all meals in the lodge. Amboseli is best known for its unrivalled views of Kilimanjaro and the local elephant population. There are over 1000 elephants in the parks eco-system‚ featuring some of the largest in Africa.  You will share the vehicle with other guests on same program unless you have requested and paid for a private vehicle. Dinner and overnight at Oltukai Lodge or similar

Day 3: Samburu National Reserve

Morning flight to Nairobi to connect on a morning flight to Samburu national reserve which is approximately 1 hour 20 minutes away. Upon arrival‚ you will be met by a driver then drive for a morning game drive enroute to the camp for check in and lunch. Ashnil Samburu Camp sits in Buffalo Springs Game Reserve which takes its name from an oasis of crystal clear water at the western end of the reserve. It is separated from Samburu National Reserve by Ewaso Nyiro River and is less hilly and dense yet equally very attractive. After lunch you will depart for a late afternoon game drive or enjoy other activities offered at the camp. Dinner and overnight at Ashnil Samburu camp or similar

Day 4: Samburu National Reserve

You will set out just before sunrise in search of game as you enjoy the richness and uniqueness of Samburu’s wildlife and endless savannah. Later in the day you will engage in a variety of safari activities which offer exciting add-ons to one’s stay. They vary depending on the clientele needs and include evening entertainment and sundowner. Dinner and overnight at Ashnil Samburu camp or similar

Day 5: Masai Mara Game Reserve

Enjoy a final early morning game drive, breakfast then transfer to the airstrip for your flight to Nairobi’s Wilson Airport for your connecting flight to Masai Mara. The flight takes approximately 45 minutes. Upon arrival at the airstrip‚ you will be met by a driver/ guide who will transfer you to your lodge as you enjoy a short game drive just before check in. After lunch you will depart for a late afternoon game drive or enjoy other activities offered at the camp. Dinner and overnight at Sarova Mara Tented Camp or similar

Day 6: Masai Mara Game Reserve

You will set out before sunrise in search of game as you enjoy the richness of the Park’s wildlife. Later in the day you will still enjoy an evening game drives in custom-built traditional safari vehicles‚ ‘sundowners’ on Observation Hill‚ bush dinners and Maasai dance performances. Dinner and overnight at Sarova Mara Tented Camp or similar

Day 7: Nairobi

Early morning game drive, breakfast, morning game drive, lunch and transfer to the airstrip for your flight to Nairobi. Transfer back to your city hotel
