7 Days Egypt Explorer tour itinerary

Day 1: Arrival in Cairo

Upon arrival in Cairo airport, you will be met and greeted by our team and transferred to the hotel in our air-conditioned vehicle. After the check-in, you will have a brief meeting to review your holiday program. Overnight in Cairo at Hilton Pyramids Golf Hotel or similar.

Day 2: Cairo tours

After breakfast, depart for a visit to the famous Giza Plateau to visit one of the seven wonders of the ancient world, the Great Pyramids of Cheops, Chephren and Mykerinus, famous Sphinx, and Valley Temple facing the great statue. You will have lunch in one of the local restaurants. After lunch, proceed to visit the Egyptian Museum and Khan El Khalili, Cairo’s old bazaar. Late afternoon, transfer back to your hotel. Overnight in Cairo at Hilton Pyramids Golf Hotel or similar

*Optional visit to the Giza Pyramids Sound & Light Show.

After breakfast, transfer to Cairo Airport for your domestic flight to Aswan where you will be met by our team and transferred to board the Nile River cruise. You will have your lunch in the cruise and visit the world famous High Dam, the awesome Philae Temple which is devoted to the 2 goddesses Isis and Hathor, and the largest known ancient obelisk which is located in the northern region of the stone quarries of ancient Egypt , the Unfinished Obelisk. Dinner and overnight in the MS Salacia Nile cruise or similar

Day 4: Abu Simbel Group Tour & Kom Ombo Temple

After breakfast in the cruise, transfer to visit Abu Simbel Temples until nonn time when you will sail to Kom Ombo to visit the temple shared by 2 gods, Sobek and Haeroris.  You will have your lunch in the cruise as you sail to Edfu.

Dinner and overnight in the MS Salacia Nile cruise in Edfu or similar

Day 5: Edfu Temple

After breakfast in the cruise, you will visit Horus Temple in Edfu. You will have your lunch in the cruise as you sail to Luxor. Evening entertainment on board. Dinner and overnight in the MS Salacia Nile cruise in Luxor or similar

Day 6: Luxor Tours

After breakfast, disembark from the cruise and visit the East Bank of the Nile in Luxor to see the Karnak Temple and Luxor Temple. Later, visit the West Bank of the River Nile in Luxor to see the Valley of the Kings, the Temple of Queen Hatshepsut at El Deir El Bahari and the Colossi of Memnon. Later, transfer to Luxor Airport for your domestic regular flight to Cairo. Upon arrival in Cairo, you will be met by our team and transferred to your hotel in Cairo. Overnight at Hilton Pyramids Golf Hotel in Cairo or similar

Day 7: Departure

After breakfast, transfer to Cairo International Airport for your flight back home
