10 Days Nile Explorer  tour itinerary

Day 1: Arrival in Cairo

Upon arrival in Cairo airport, you will be met and greeted by our team and transferred to the hotel in our air-conditioned vehicle. After the check-in, you will have a brief meeting to review your holiday program. Overnight in Cairo at Le Riad Hotel de Charme or similar

Day 2: Pyramids Tour

After breakfast, depart to Giza Plateau to visit one of the 7 wonders of the ancient world, the Great Pyramids of Cheops, Chefren and Mykerinus, famous Sphinx and Valley temple facing the great statue. You will visit the Solar Boat in front of Cheops Pyramid (pay entrance fee directly). You will have your lunch in one of the local restaurants. After lunch, proceed to Sakkara region to visit Sakkara Complex and the 1^st pyramid to be built called Djoser Pyramid. Then drive for about 40 kms to arrive at Dahshur, which is a famous royal necropolis in Egypt with famous Pyramids like the red and bent Pyramids of king snefru. Late afternoon, transfer back to your hotel. Overnight in Cairo at Le Riad Hotel de Charme or similar

Day 3: Cairo Sightseeing

After breakfast, you will drive to enjoy a full day tour in Cairo. This tours takes you to visit the Egyptian Museum in Tahrir Square, Salah El Din Citadel and Mohamed Ali Alabaster Mosque. You will have your lunch in one of the local restaurants. Proceed to area of Islamic Cairo to visit Khan El Khalili which is the Cairo’s oldest bazaar. Later, proceed to Coptic Cairo to visit the Hanging Church, Ben Ezra Synagogue, Church of St. Barbara, and Church of Abu Serga. Later, transfer to your hotel. Overnight in Cairo at Le Riad Hotel de Charme or similar.

Day 4: Luxor

After breakfast, transfer to Cairo Airport for your domestic flight to Luxor. Upon arrival in Luxor, you will be met by our team and transferred to your hotel. Full day at leisure in the hotel. Overnight at Sofitel Winter Palace Hotel or similar in Luxor.

Day 5: Nile Cruise Tours in Luxor

After breakfast, transfer to the cruise for boarding and lunch. After lunch, depart to the East Bank of the Nile to visit Karnak Temple and Luxor Temple. Dinner and Overnight on-board the Mayfair Nile Cruise

(Optional: Sound and Light Show at Karnak Temple)

Day 6: Nile Cruise Tours in Luxor

After breakfast in the Cruise, depart to visit the royal cemetery for 62 Pharaohs, Valley of the Kings, mortuary Temple of Queen Hatshepsut which was built by the architects of the New Kingdom Pharaoh Hatshepsut approximately in the 15th century BC. Proceed to the Colossi of Memnon. After lunch, start sailing to Edfu. Dinner and Overnight on-board the Mayfair Nile Cruise

Day 7: Edfu and Kom Ombo Tours

After breakfast in the cruise, you will sail to Edfu with your lunch on-board. Proceed to visit the cult temple in Egypt called Horus Temple in Edfu, proceed to visit the temple shared by 2 gods called Sobek & Haeroris in Kom Ombo. Late afternoon, transfer back to the cruise and sail to Aswan. Dinner and Overnight on-board the Mayfair Nile Cruise

Day 8: Nile Cruise tours in Aswan

After breakfast, depart for a sightseeing tour in Aswan to visit the High Dam and the largest known ancient obelisk which is located in the northern region of the stone quarries of ancient Egypt, the Unfinished Obelisk, temple of Philae which was devoted to the 2 goddesses namely Isis and Hathor. Dinner and Overnight on-board the Mayfair Nile Cruise

Day 9: Abu Simbel

After breakfast, disembark from the cruise and drive for about 3.5 hours to arrive at Abu Simbel to visit the temples of Ramses II which were dedicated to the 4 universal gods namely Ptah, Re-Harakhte, Amun-Re, and to Ramesses II. Late afternoon, return to your hotel. Overnight at Sofitel Legend Old Cataract or similar in Aswan.

Day 10: Cairo

After breakfast, transfer to Aswan airport for your domestic flight to Cairo
