10 Days Best of Alexandria and Abu Simbel tour itinerary

Day 1: Arrival in Cairo

Upon arrival in Cairo airport, you will be met and greeted by our team and transferred to the hotel in our air-conditioned vehicle. After the check-in, you will have a brief meeting to review your holiday program. Overnight in Cairo at Kempinski Nile City Hotel or similar

Day 2: Pyramids / Museum Tours

After breakfast, depart to Giza Plateau to visit one of the 7 wonders of the ancient world, the Great Pyramids of Cheops, Chefren and Mykerinus, famous Sphinx and Valley temple facing the great statue. You will have your lunch in one of the local restaurants. After lunch, proceed to the Egyptian Museum, Coptic Cairo to visit the Hanging Church and Ben Ezra Synagogue, Islamic Cairo to visit Cairo’s old bazaar called Khan El Khalili. Overnight in Cairo at Overnight at Kempinski Nile City Hotel or similar in Cairo.

Day 3: Alexandria Tours

After breakfast, drive for about 3 hours to Alexandria city to visit Pompey’s Pillar. This is a monument of the Roman Emperor Diocletian, Qaitbey Citadel which was built in the 15th century by Sultan Qaitbay on the spot of Alexandria’s ancient lighthouse. Overnight at Sheraton Montazah Hotel or similar

Day 4: Aelxandria / Cairo

After breakfast, you will spend the day at leisure. Lunch NOT included. Late afternoon, transfer to Cairo. Overnight at Sheraton Montazah Hotel or similar

Day 5: Luxor West Bank

After breakfast, transfer to Cairo Airport for your domestic flight to Luxor. Upon arrival, you will be met by our team and transferred to the west bank to see the Temple of Queen Hatshepsut and the Colossi of Memnon. You will have your lunch on one of the local restaurants.  Overnight at t Sheraton Luxor Hotel or similar

Days 6: Luxor East Bank

After breakfast, proceed to visit the magnificent Karnak and Luxor temples on the East bank with lunch in one of the local restaurants. Overnight at Sheraton Luxor Hotel or similar

Day 7: Aswan tours

After breakfast, drive for about 3 hours to Aswan to visit the High Dam and the the Nubian Village.  Your lunch will be in one of the local restaurants.  Dinner and overnight at Mövenpick Aswan Resort or similar in Aswan.

Day 8: Abu Simbel Tour

After breakfast, drive for about 3 hours to Abu Simbel to visit the temples of Ramses II. Your lunch will be in one of the local restaurants. Dinner and overnight at Movenpick Aswan Resort or similar in Aswan.

Day 9: Cairo

After breakfast, transfer to Aswan Airport for your regular domestic flight to Cairo. Upon arrival in Cairo, you will be met and transferred to your hotel. Overnight at Le Meridien Pyramids Hotel or similar in Cairo.

Day 10: Departure

After breakfast, transfer to Cairo International Airport for your flight back home
