10 Days Wonders of Egypt tour itinerary

Day 1: Arrival in Cairo

Upon arrival in Cairo airport, you will be met and greeted by our team and transferred to the hotel in our air-conditioned vehicle. After the check-in, you will have a brief meeting to review your holiday program. Overnight at Kempinski Nile City Hotel Cairo or similar in Cairo.

Day 2: Pyramids and Sakkara Tour

After breakfast, depart to Giza Plateau to visit one of the 7 wonders of the ancient world, the Great Pyramids of Cheops, Chefren and Mykerinus, famous Sphinx and Valley temple facing the great statue. You will have your lunch in one of the local restaurants. You may choose to visit the solar boat in front of the Pyramid of Cheops (at extra cost). Proceed to Sakkara area to visit Sakkara Complex and 1^st pyramid to be built called Djoser Pyramid. Overnight at Le Riad Hotel de Charme or similar in Cairo.

Day 3: Sightseeing Cairo

After breakfast, drive to visit the Egyptian Museum with your lunch in one of the local restaurants. Later proceed to Islamic Cairo to visit Cairo’s oldest bazaar called Khan El Khalili, the Egyptian Museum, the Citadel of Salah al-Din and the Mohammed Ali al-Marmar Mosque. Lunch will be served at a local restaurant. Proceed to the Islamic Cairo, to Coptic Cairo to see the Hanging Church, Ben Ezra Synagogue, St. Barbara Church, Abu Sirga Church. Overnight at Le Riad Hotel de Charme or similar in Cairo.

Day 4: Luxor

After breakfast, transfer to transfer to Cairo Airport for your domestic regular flight to Luxor. Upon arrival in Luxor, you will be met by our team and transferred to your hotel. Overnight at Sofitel Winter Palace Hotel Luxor

Day 5: Nile Cruise tours in Luxor

After breakfast, drive to board the Nile cruise and start sailing to the East Bank of the Nile to visit Karnak Temple and Luxor Temple. Your lunch will be on the cruise. Dinner and overnight on the cruise ship.

(At extra cost, you may enjoy a sound and light show at Karnak Temple)

Day 6: Nile Cruise tours in Luxor

After breakfast, proceed to visit the royal tombs of the 62 Pharaohs, Valley of the Kings. Visit the legendary temple of Queen Hatshepsut, which were built in 1500 BC. Proceed to visit Colossi of Memnon with your lunch on board the cruise. Later, proceed sailing to Edfu. Dinner and overnight on the cruise ship

Day 7: Edfu and Kom Ombo tours

After your breakfast, depart to visit the most preserved temple in Egypt, the Temple of Horus in Edfu, the temple shared by two gods Sobek & Haeroris in Kom Ombo. Afternoon sail to Aswan. Dinner and overnight on the cruise ship

Day 8: Aswan Tours

After breakfast, depart to visit the High Dam and the largest ancient obelisk “the unfinished obelisk”, the beautiful Philae temple of the goddess Isis and Hathor. Dinner and overnight at Sofitel Legend Old Cataract hotel or similar in Aswan.

Day 9: Abu Simbel

After breakfast, drive for about 3.5 hours to Abu Simbel to visit the temples of Ramses II at Abu Simbel, dedicated to the 4 gods of: Ptah, Reharakhetty, Amun Rey, and Ramses II. Dinner and overnight in hotel in Aswan.

Day 9: Departure

After breakfast, transfer to Aswan Airport to your flight to Cairo and onward connection on your international flight back home
