6 Days Tanzania Wilderness tour itinerary

Day 1: Selous game reserve

Early morning drive to Selous game reserve which is almost (218.6 km) approx. 5-6 hours driving to arrive at your camp for lunch and a short siesta. Enjoy evening boat safari to watch birds from the shores. Dinner and overnight at Hippo camp or similar.

Day 2: Selous game reserve

After early breakfast, collect picnic lunches and depart for full day game in the game reserve, the home to great animal population like lions, elephants, giraffes, buffalos, zebras and all the other major species like hunting dogs and birds. Dinner and overnight at the Hippo camp or similar

Day 3: Iringa town

After early breakfast, drive to Iringa town with picnic lunches via Morogoro town. This journey through the country side will offer nice scenery, beautiful valleys and mountains. You will be having your lunch mid-way. You will arrive in the evening at Iringa town. Dinner and overnight at Hilltop Lodge or similar

Day 4: Ruaha national park

After early breakfast, collect picnic lunches and drive for a full day game drives in the park. You will enjoy a nice view of Ruaha river valley. You will look for Kudu, wildebeests, elephants, zebras, lions, hippos, hartebeests, impalas, antelopes, giraffes and buffalos among others. Dinner and overnight at Hilltop lodge or similar

Day 5: Ruaha national park

After early breakfast, collect picnic lunches and drive for a full day game drives in the park. You will enjoy a nice view of Ruaha river valley. You will look for Kudu, wildebeests, elephants, zebras, lions, hippos, hartebeests, impalas, antelopes, giraffes and buffalos among others. In the afternoon, you will do some 3 hours of walking. Dinner and overnight at Hilltop lodge or similar

Day 6: Dar es Salaam

After breakfast, collect picnic lunches and drive back to Dar es Salaam to arrive in the evening.

Our package for above arrangements includes:

• 2 bottles of mineral water per client per day while on safari

• Transport in a 4 x 4 Landcruiser in Tanzania with pop-up roof for game viewing
