7 Days Big Five trail safari tour itinerary

Day 1 : Samburu Game Reserve

Morning transfer to the airport for your flight at 08h00 to Samburu game reserve where you will arrive and be met by your driver from the lodge and start a morning game drive en-route to the lodge for lunch. After lunch, you will have an afternoon game drives. Dinner and overnight at Sarova Shaba Lodge or similar

Day 2 : Samburu Game Reserve

Full day morning and afternoon game drives in a shared vehicle with other guests unless you have requested and paid for a private vehicle. Dinner and overnight at Sarova Shaba Lodge or similar

Day 3 : Masai Mara Game Reserve

Morning transfer to the airfield for your scheduled flight at 09h15 to Masai Mara game reserve to arrive at 11h00 where you will be met by a vehicle from the camp and transferred to the camp for lunch with game drive en-route. Afternoon game drive to find the Big 5 in the Masai Mara. Dinner and overnight at Ilkeliani Camp or similar

Day 4 : Masai Mara Game Reserve

Today, you have full day in Masai Mara game reserve for game drives with all meals in the camp. If it’s the season of the annual wildebeest migration take a lunch box and stay out all day to see massed herds, perhaps a river crossing and the accompanying lions. All year round the game viewing is good. Dinner and overnight at Ilkeliani Camp or similar.

Day 5: Amboseli national park

Early morning and morning game drives, then lunch followed by your transfer to the airstrip for your afternoon regular flight departing at 14h00 to arrive at 15h00 in Amboseli national park where you will be met at the airstrip for afternoon game drive. Dinner and overnight at Oltukai Lodge or similar.

Day 6: Amboseli national park

Today, you shall spend the whole day at Amboseli national park with 2 game drives and all meals in the lodge. You will share the vehicle with other guests on same program unless you have requested and paid for a private vehicle. Dinner and overnight at Oltukai Lodge or similar

Day 7 : Mombasa

Early and morning game drive. After lunch you transfer to the local airstrip for the afternoon return flight to Mombasa and transfer to your hotel.
