5 Day wild experience & gorilla trekking safari tour itinerary

Day 1: Bwindi Impenetrable National park

Morning drive to Bwindi Impenetrable National park, southwestern of Uganda for tracking of mountain gorillas.

Dinner and overnight at Gorilla Mist Camp or similar

Day 2:Gorilla Tracking Bwindi Impenetrable National park

After breakfast, you will assemble at the park headquarters for briefing from the park rangers.  Proceed for gorilla trekking in the forest that may last 2-6 hours depending on the movement of the animals. Meet and stay with the animals for a maximum of one hour, then descend to the park headquarters and then to your Lodge for lunch and relaxation. In the evening, you may go for community walk in the nearby Batwa community, where you will be entertained and given tales of their unique culture.

Day 3: Akagera National Park

After breakfast, drive to Akagera National Park in Rwanda which is the only National park where wildlife viewing can be done in Rwanda. You will enjoy a game drive through the park to view zebras, giraffes, elephants etc.

Dinner and overnight at Akagera game lodge or similar

Day 4: Akagera National Park

After breakfast, you will start the day with a morning game drive through the park in search of lions, Elephants, Buffalos, Masai Giraffe and many others. You will return to the lodge for lunch. In the afternoon you will enjoy a boat-ride on Lake Ihema. You will enjoy the sundowns at the lodge in the evening.

Day 5: Transfer to Kigali
