8 Days Treasures of Egypt tour itinerary

Day 1: Arrival in Cairo

Upon arrival in Cairo airport, you will be met and greeted by our team and transferred to the hotel in our air-conditioned vehicle. After the check-in, you will have a brief meeting to review your holiday program. Overnight in Cairo at Kempinski Nile City Hotel or similar

Day 2: Pyramids / Museum Tours

After breakfast, depart to Giza Plateau to visit one of the 7 wonders of the ancient world, the Great Pyramids of Cheops, Chefren and Mykerinus, famous Sphinx and Valley temple facing the great statue. You will have your lunch in one of the local restaurants. After lunch, proceed to the Egyptian Museum, Coptic Cairo to visit the Hanging Church and Ben Ezra Synagogue, Islamic Cairo to visit Cairo’s old bazaar called Khan El Khalili. Overnight in Cairo at Overnight at Kempinski Nile City Hotel or similar in Cairo.

Day 3: Luxor East Bank Tours

After breakfast, we will transfer you to the Cairo airport for your regular domestic flight to Luxor. Upon arrival, you will met by our team and transferred in a wheel chair friendly vehicle to board the Nile cruise for lunch. After lunch, you will visit the impressive Karnak Temple and Luxor Temple. Dinner on board the Amarco Nile Cruise.

Day 4: Luxor Nile Cruise tours

After breakfast, depart to visit the royal cemetery for 62 Pharaohs, Valley of the Kings, and Mortuary Temple of Queen Hatshepsut which was built by the architects of the New Kingdom Pharaoh Hatshepsut in the 15th century BC. Proceed to visit the Colossi of Memnon. You will have your lunch and sail to Edfu. Dinner on board the Amarco Nile Cruise.

Day 7: Edfu and Kom Ombo tours

After your breakfast, depart to visit the most preserved temple in Egypt, the Temple of Horus in Edfu. Proceed sailing to Kom Ombo to see the unique Temple of Sobek, dedicated to Sobek the crocodile god, and Horus the falcon-headed god. You will have your lunch on board as you continue sailing to Aswan. Dinner and overnight on board you Amarco Nile Cruise.

Day 6: Aswan Sightseeing tours

After breakfast, enjoy a full day sightseeing experience in Aswan. You will visit the High Dam and the Nubian Village. Dinner and overnight on board you Amarco Nile Cruise.

Day 7: Cairo

After breakfast, transfer to Aswan airport for your regular domestic flight to Cairo. Upon arrival, you will be met by our team and transferred to your hotel. Overnight at Kempinski Nile City Hotel in Cairo.

Day 8: Departure

After breakfast, transfer by a wheelchair accessible modern vehicle to the Cairo International Airport for your flight back home
